One block from the shore in Old Orchard Beach you’ll find a beautifully landscaped public park. The park is a great place for a picnic or just to unwind. The park offers free summer concerts, patriotic flag raisings, a petanque court, special events, and stunning displays of “artistry in bloom”!

THE EASTERN TRAIL
The Eastern Trail is a 65 mile long route from Kittery to South Portland Maine, for walkers, cyclists, equestrians, birders and the like. Motorized vehicles are not permitted. From Old Orchard Beach the trail can be accessed from the Cascade Road, Portland Avenue and the new Old Orchard Beach Connector. OCEAN PARK
Founded in 1881 as a religious community, Ocean Park is one of the most beautiful spots in Old Orchard Beach. Ocean Park plays host to the annual 4th of July parade, sand-sculpting contests, art shows on the green, road races and an annual “ILLUMINATION NIGHT”. Click here for more information.
CAMP ELLIS JETTY
Begun in the early 19th century and finally completed by the army corps of engineers in 1911, the jetty is a great place to fish or just to sit and watch the tide come in. The jetty offers a great backdrop for photos of the entire Saco Bay area. Camp Ellis Jetty is located just south of Old Orchard Beach in Saco.
HARMON MUSEUM
A visit to the Harmon Museum offers those interested in Old Orchard’s rich history the opportunity to delve into historical treasures dating back over 200 years ago. Enjoy fascinating discoveries such as the iconic Dummy Railroad, horse racing at the Kite Track, car racing and plane landings on the beach, and the era of big bands and grand hotels.
